We honor every patient’s culture, traditions, and experiences. By blending medical science with cultural sensitivity, we create care that’s not just effective, but meaningful.

Dr. Minera: A New Model for
Modern Medicine

Hi, I’m Dr. Minera, and for years I’ve practiced internal medicine, focusing on the care of aging adults. Early in my career, I realized something profound, primary care can change lives, but ten-minute visits rarely do. Life moves quickly, and small health issues can snowball into major hospitalizations. I wanted to break that cycle.

That’s why I began following my patients through every stage of recovery, from hospitals to rehabilitation centers. Over time, I saw a clear truth: what truly improves outcomes isn’t just medicine, it’s time, trust, and genuine human connection. When I slowed down to listen, people got stronger. They stayed home, stayed independent, and felt hopeful again.

In today’s healthcare system, being sick can be expensive, unpredictable, and overwhelming. Insurance often leaves families caught between rising costs and limited coverage. I saw this strain daily, and it became my turning point.

So I redesigned my practice around what truly matters, fewer patients, longer visits, proactive prevention, and ongoing communication with families. My model offers a transparent, stable fee that covers comprehensive care well beyond traditional insurance limits. The result? Earlier interventions, fewer crises, and better long-term outcomes for every patient.

At De Oro Longevity, I practice medicine built on empathy and partnership. My patients are not just cases, they’re people with stories, families, and goals. I make house calls, offer virtual visits, and take the time to understand what health really means to each individual.

I believe the most powerful medicine is often simple: time, trust, and someone who truly cares. My goal is to help patients live longer, stay stronger, and enjoy life more fully, not just manage illness.

Outside of work, I live by the same principles I encourage in others. Inspired by my grandmother, who taught me that longevity lives in small, meaningful habits, I prioritize connection, movement, and joy.

I recharge by hiking, exploring new foods, and spending time with my wife and our two dogs, Oso and Pierre. I also volunteer and teach at the UC Riverside Free Clinic, giving back to the community that shaped me.

I believe in people, especially those who’ve adapted, persisted, and kept going when the odds were against them. My approach to care is about partnership: helping patients protect their health, preserve independence, and see their own resilience reflected back at them.

If you’re ready for high-connection, proactive care that starts before things fall apart, I’m ready to walk that journey with you.
